I had to do the hardest thing of my life yesterday

I had to say goodbye to my beautiful Misty

At nearly 12 years old, she had begun a rapid decline in the last month or so.

These are a few photos of her I got from our trip to Scotland in August. She had a good time, and really enjoyed being out and about and seeing the sights. But I could tell that it was hard work for her. Over the following weeks she was finding it harder and harder to walk, then to even stand up.

She has given me so much joy over the years. Such a gentle soul. If you met her, she was your friend. I will always love you my sweet innocent girl.
