The erect posture (and their planet-centric assumptions about what that implied) and lack of body fur threw them off, so they largely treated him as an alien up until the end. I mean, compared to most animals, human penises are MASSIVE in relation to their body weight. The average gorilla penis is something like 1-1.5 inches long? And that's a 300-400 lbs primate. We're like... 150-180 lbs and average something like 4 inches? That's so fucking big, proportionally. On top of that, humans are one of the few animals where the penis is fully exposed when flaccid, and often similar in size both flaccid and erect, while animals are sheathed inside the body when soft.

Tbh, I'm okay with it. I've seen too many thing that were supposed to be one shots like this, that are amazing in the first chapter, become utterly awful, contrived schlock because the artist never intended to expand them beyond the first chapter. Sometimes short and sweet is really the best way for something to be.

Sure, but in this case the premise is fairly novel, and deviates from your traditional Isekai format quite a bit. I would have liked to see them explore the concept a bit, since it wouldn't just be your typical power fantasy, just a guy who dropped out of the sky in a spaceship.

Okay but… where does it go from here? Like what is chapter 2. We’ve resolved the primary trauma of isolation and exclusion, and sorta written off the “deadly pathogen” part. Do we do some kinda “Avatar” style story where the advanced human helps out the less advanced race with their knowledge? Personally, I don’t see many things here that’d be too exciting to expand on that wouldn’t be better simply in a new story

Rewrite/expand on the plot points that were not fleshed out or resolved well, story arc of him adapting to life there beyond being locked up as a test subject, his relationship with cat woman, facing discrimination even though he's been allowed to live, etc.
Honestly my least favorite thing about a lot of manga/anime is they develop a lot of romance and side stuff riiiiiight up to the end of the series and as soon as they beat the last big bad guy it ends. Next to zero payoff for that stuff.

A fair enough thing to be mad about I just… fail to see exactly what makes this one a compelling one to build on. I feel like those points would be just as well if not better showcased in a story designed to facilitate them over a longer story. This one really does feel quite “wrapped up” and any extension does kinda feel like we’d be adding new stuff just to make it work. Sure the extended racial prejudice could be something, but a story like Beastars handles that much more interestingly
