I work in retail, I love my job, and I love my customers! It's pet supplies though, so probably easier than clothing etc.

try to get into the receiving department. i worked retail at whole foods for 6 years, got into receiving. no more customers, good pay & bens

I work in a department store in the UK and I quite enjoy it, there's no micromanagement, it's pretty relaxed and the customers are fine.
