As the meme suggests, I introduced my girlfriend to my family on Christmas day. We have been together for about a year and a half now and she has only met my parents, my sister and niece (I have a very large family). Everything seemed to be going fine until my brother's 20 year old daughter came by. She and her father's partner get into a shouting match, threatening each other, and punching holes in walls. All this happenening whilst my young niece was upstairs playing, my girlfriend went upstairs to make sure my neice was fine. I just wanted to have a lovely Christmas with my nearest but clearly that was not possible. I just feel like I should cut all ties with the negative family members as this is not the first time they have acted like asshats.
Sorry for the rant, just had to vent.
