Okay, recommendations for alternatives? I've been wanting to stop b using Gmail. I'd like to get away from YouTube but haven't found a decent alternative. I like Nebula but there isn't much content on there for me yet.

This is all tied to your Google Account. Gmail is the least of your concerns, if you've set up Google Play they're tracking all this by default. I turn off almost all of this (which doesn't mean it actually is off). I don't turn my GPS on unless I need to because Google tracks where your phone is all the time.

There are a million alternatives to Gmail, Proton and Fastmail get recommended a lot. I’d recommend the service I use but I’ve been unhappy lately, so can’t. But there’s no alternative to YouTube. Or rather, the alternative is to find some better way to waste your time. I recommend going to your local library.
