Even this guide is too complicated.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

OR you could blow it up

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This is the pdf I used to learn

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Look at this shit, yet people can do this in mere seconds!

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Or, get this, or you could just peel off the stickers

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Instructions too confusing, got dick stuck in ceiling fan.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I was 4 when I learned to solve them. Also note, some have different colors opposite eachother; mine was white/blue green/yellow red/orange

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Why is this here? This is literally from the Rubik's cube website.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Where the tl;Dr for this one?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Tl;Dr peel off stickers and put them in the right spot

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

And that is how a bill becomes a law!

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I've done this, can confirm it works like a charm 10/10 times

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Was expecting last picture to be a demolished cube and a hammer. Slightly disappointed.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

TL;DR Favorite for later though...

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

There is a simpler way that doesn't require "algorithms". Just some logic and one move to repeat, called the Sexy Move.

R U R' U'

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That one :)

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

great, now i have to go buy one

10 years ago | Likes 77 Dislikes 0

This is one of the better guides I have seen it make the front page. And I do recommend learning how to actually solve a cube. It's fun.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You can download the app onto your phone if you have an iPhone or Android device :D

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This was the instruction guide that came with my cube some years ago.

That explains a lot

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

remember... even hope was in pandora's box.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I totally did and now I can do it. Memorizing all the algorithms takes some time.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Dont do it theyre still boxes of evil even if you can solve them!

10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I'll be watching TV and all of sudden look down to notice one has found it's way into my hands and I've been mindlessly solving it...

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Dammit now do you see what happens when you talk about them

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Instructions unclear. Made a death clock.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I practice this on the shitter. While I shit.

Instructions unclear, got my tit stuck in the cube.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

To be honest i´ve learned to sove one yesterday but that was easier then read though this mess .

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

And when do you plan on learning grammar?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I have a bunch of bootleg cubes up for grabs if anyone is really interested in learning.

Made in China non-brand Rubik's cubes. "Wonderful Puzzle" lol

Cool. Now to figure out how to get a couple to you lol

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Semi-pro cuber here, I love this method but it is not the fastest method. F2L is another method of you want to get a little more serious wit

10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

h more intense and specific algorithms

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I learned by the traditional cross-layer method.. after I learned the puzzle I taught myself corners-in, faster but more difficult at first

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I was the same with how I learned. I learned from Dan brown a few years ago

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Step 1. Remove stickers. Step 2. Replace stickers in the correct order

10 years ago | Likes 37 Dislikes 5

Yes! You win.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Actually, according to the definition of solving a Rubik's Cube, just removing the stickers works. Each face is one whole colour.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

That's how I finally solved mine when I was a kid, about 30 years ago. Then my dad beat the shit out of me for ruining it.

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

No don't do that, the stickers never stick correctly again. It is THE #1 selling toy ever, and 99% of them never get solved. Poor cubes.

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

TL:DR I just took it apart and put it together again in the right pattern.

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

I know how to solve the cube, but after solving the yellow cross my method varies pretty greatly. I tried the above method and couldn't

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

get the top all yellow following these instructions.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Unless things have changed, Rubik's Cubes come with these instructions.

10 years ago | Likes 60 Dislikes 4

I bought one least weekend and no instructions were included.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I keep a copy of 4x4/5x5 instructions with me at all times.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They make Rubik's Squares?

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

They do.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

i got mine in 1981, no instructions.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

They have a website now, that this was lifted from http://rubiks.com/blog/how-to-solve-the-rubiks-cube

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Naw, it's a front page repost of stolen images from the website! Maximum efficiency.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I guess that makes sense. Loads cheaper than printing booklets.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I bought one last week, no such instructions.

10 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 0

yeah, because you have to *solve* it

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If there was a problem, yo, I'll solve it.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Then you didn't buy a Rubik's cube.

10 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

I did, tho. That's the thing. It's even Rubiks brand.

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

It's in the bottom of the packaging. Placed in a place so well thought of for such this purpose, you can't find them

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I remember one of my first cubes didn't have the instructions in it but the rest after it did could be a manufacturing error.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I guess things have changed. For the record, mines was bought in the mid-90s.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

World record is 4.9 seconds. Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vh0W8E4cNkQ

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

How did I know there would be someone taking pictures with a tablet in that video?

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

God dammit one of them said "what are thoooose"

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

At this point the world record is literally just who can move their fingers fastest. All of them know the moves the moment they see it.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

They don't know all of the moves they need, they can only "see" about 5-15 moves into the solve. Source: I do this a TON. :p

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You're telling me that people who solve Cubes blindfolded don't have every single move planned out in advance?

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

spot. We assign each piece a letter and memorize such as ABCD, the buffer piece would be A's piece but then we would use the algorithm 2/?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No, we memorize where each piece needs to go and then, depending on the method, use an algorithm to put a "buffer" piece into a target 1/?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

ABCD, and we swap with the piece in the B position. 4/4 Sorry that was kind of long and probably not explained well :p

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You kinda explained it like you could still see the pieces. Does this technique work without being able to see them?

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

to put the buffer, which is the A piece, into A's actual position. Then the piece we swapped will be the B piece, assuming our memo was 3/?
