I have IBS-D, and always had to use a combination of medication and enemas to evacuate, but never felt like I was done/empty. Today while at Walmart I had a very pressing urge to go, and barely made it to the toilet, where I violently took a poo, it simultaneously hurt and felt so satisfying, I've never felt so much relief in my life.

Damn man, ten years must have been hell. I just got over chronic constipation that lasted a year, and it ran me ragged. I'm really happy for you, though! Even before my problems started there's no relief like a good poo.

My wife had this problem, when we decided to go vegan it opened up the flood gates and she never looked back. She didn't stay vegan but the constipation never returned.

For anyone who needs to hear this: colorectal cancers are on the rise for what I am guessing is most of us millennials here. One symptom can sometimes be never feeling like you’re empty. If you have family history or symptoms that are weird, force your doctor to refer you.

I had UC so bad that I had my large intestine removed. I shart pretty regularly. Best thing I've found that helps with dieahrea is Carob Powder. All the prescriptions had bad side effects for me.

Weirdly enough the best thing I've found to mix it with is apple sauce. It can also kinda be disguised in chocolate milk, it's just hard to get it to mix in well.
