Funny how Trump's definition of "better health care" is less health care or no healthcare. Rich fuck.

You cannot have bad healthcare if there is no healthcare

That is slightly less expensive than my current plan and I make 6 figures...

before anyone comments on the math, make sure you subtract the $29k before you do the 4%

I thought you guys didn’t want Obamacare. The Bern said it’s Medicare for all now. Make up your minds!

My dude this is my 11th favorite.

Repeal and replace with an actual replacement. None of that "we'll replace it when we think of something but let's repeal it now"

No public healthcare so people have to sign up for private insurance. Don’t sign up? Help Gov pay for expanding the low-income gov insurance

Not true if you have no insurance and make less than 25000usd a year you are exempt from fine. Min fine was 300 but it came out of taxes

That's what the plan was supposed to be but ya know how bureaucracy works

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

1) That was the case, but no longer is. The individual mandate was presented that way to pass off Obama care as a tax, making it legal

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

2) in the eyes of the US Supreme Court. Otherwise, it wouldn’t have initially passed as there is no stipulation to force ppl to buy things.

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

3) Even with the exemptions in place, the individual mandate was voted out a yr. or two ago, so this is no longer the case in the US.

Insurance only works if the pool of people represents the population well. Otherwise it fucks up the maths. Penalty is in place to 1/2

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Discourage people to go without healthcare. The penalty was removed and now GOP wants to say Obamacare is unconstitutional bc no penalty.

I think it's because the hospital counts on the money from insurance, but at that point we are just protecting the wallets of the rich 1/2

6 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Rather than saving the lives of those who need it 2/2

I don’t lean much one way or the other politically but fuck Obama care. That shit charges us for what we can’t already afford .

Love it or hate it, a lot of people got insurance when they otherwise couldn’t. Medicare for all would be the better option though.
