#2 bad boat tie, no fenders, and its not a floating dock so you have to constantly adjust for rising and lowering waters. Thats also an extremely expensive fix

#7 tbh, my company issued chep-ass laptop runs at 80 C and the muther#ucker decided to arc the charging wire and stank my whole house. Was running teams IM and outlook. Lenovo t14. Avoidbthat garbage! (Design flaw builds static on the battery and it arcs to the factory supplied wire, its garbage!)

Please someone explain to me why I keep seing videos where the driver seat is on the other side? No, it's not the camera mirroring, camera mirroring doesn't move the steering wheel from the port side to starboard.

#1 He's hauling constructive equipment so would guess that basically it's "worth the risk", I was watching some show about Truckers in the Outback in Australia on Prime and they are out there driving their rigs through stuff that I'd be like "haha hell nope" but if they don't deliver, maybe that puddle would never get fixed because the construction equipment in the rig's bed is what was ordered to fix the puddle.

ThomasThundersword
See for it to blow against your foot, you need to first win it at a gas station, THEN get hit by a car, then have a cosmetic epiphany, THEN it blows into your foot. giving you 3.5 great seasons, and a massive cliffhanger ending before cancellation.

#2 incorrectly placed bumpers.
IAlwaysUpvoteSunsets
"Is pieceofshite."
Noevilgifs
Also looks like the boat was too high in the water for the way those posts were set, i think this couldve been just some nasty scrapes if the boat wasnt being lifted up and slamming down on the posts from the waves
Grinch01
The knots where way to lose the boat shouldn't move that much in the first place...
Hexidimentional
Bad peir design, there's no way to deploy bumpers to ensure this doesnt happen
malakim
Eh. Boat is just to big for the pier.
amanofmellowcharacter365
Wasn't pier reviewed.
truthader
Currently getting pier reviewed.
WarlockSniper
Or rather, no bumpers placed at all. Breaks your heart, that looked like a nice fucking boat.
NKato
And too much slack on the lines, too.
MinimumContributor
There’s some floating in the water
WarlockSniper
That is one bumper that seems to have fallen off. A boat of that size needs several bumpers for... well, the video shows why.
MinimumContributor
There’s another in the water at the middle post too. It seems there were some tied to the pillars, but yea the owner should have had their own hanging from the boat itself
Romiet
As someone who knows *nothing* about boats, I wondered if there was something that could've prevented this, or if this is just a thing that happens sometimes in choppy water.
Hexidimentional
Used tires screwed into each of those posts would have gone a long way
Evenmoreuselessname
Adjusting the lines correctly so the boat is held away from the dock. Adding bumpers on the sides/back.
TheDoctorCrankenstein
The dock is not built for ships that large. Has no bumpers. Usually, there would be a ring of tires or something similar to prevent the ships from making contact with the pier structure specifically for when the water gets choppy.
truthader
Here’s a dumb question (I am also a Jon Snow). Does the boat have the tires or similar or the dock?
TheDoctorCrankenstein
The pier/dock would, typically. Although, some larger ships that aren't too concerned about excess weight or limited space will occasionally have some. Modern docks are now usually built with things called "marine fenders" which are just purpose built objects in place of using repurposed tires.
There also exist "boat fenders" (bulbous, soft-bodied objects on a rope to hang over the side) for personal boats but they are small and not all that effective except to prevent minor scratches.
truthader
Eek! I’m sorry I’m so late with this: Thank you!!
