you can have multiple accounts logged on to the same device at once. just disconnect your youtube from g+ and connect it to its own g+

I also use different browsers to keep work/personal completely separate so accidents don't happen. Firefox for play, Chrome for work.

and... your blaming g+ for a google thing. it's one account that applies to ALL of google. not just g+ youtube and gmail.

I suppose, but g+ is when this name issue started. Before the real name push my email didn't have a name on it, g+ added it automatically.
