My last post got deleted somehow. So I'll try again. Peachicks before being moved to larger space.
Dirt for filling floor of left side of chicken coop
Wiring of left side of chicken coop. For incubator and brooding lights.
Chestnut I hope to plant in the spring. They were wiped out and people have been trying to bring them back. I was lucky enough to get 2 pods.
View from my driveway. 6 acre plot of land in the country.
Right side of chicken coop. Where my layers stay. Roosting bars on left. Nesting trough on right. Feed and grit tubes to the back. And water buckets up front. They free range during the day and are closed up at night.
The garden this spring after mulching. Only the second year. Still trying to figure out what my family will use and we hope to start canning this upcoming season or the next.
Another garden picture during mulching.
Chickens found the black raspberry bushes. I have 18 separate bushes.
One night picking black raspberries last spring. We had 30 cups make it to freezer. At least that much was eaten by my daughter and I during the season.
Obligatory dog tax. She is a mutt we rescued. Lab mix. Her name is Remington. She loves running the property and takes care of the kids and chickens.
If more people like this stuff I will start documenting better and post more regularly. This post and my last one were just pictures on my phone from 2017. I am also considering a YouTube channel if this has enough interest.
Thanks for looking.

Lol. Alright, I'll try to document things better. And post more. She is a really good dog. Couldn't ask for a better behaved mutt.
