I put the Butterfingers in the freezer for a bit so that they’d chop us nicer.

Oops, forgot the vanilla in sugar in the first ingredient pic!

This was impossibly good. Can’t-stop-eating-it good.

Pet tax by my useless little lump, Chichi!

No baker, but i refuse to use a premix cake. Like at least use normal ingredients..

You had me until you added the coffee. Gross

Even if you’re a coffee hater, coffee in chocolate cake (or brownies) instead of water is really good! You can’t really taste the coffee flavor, it just makes the chocolate taste richer.

I'd look like Chichi if I ate that.

Saw the coffee and knew you were doing it right. Coffee is so magical in chocolate cake.

Yes! I’ll never go back to using water.

I’m starting to get chest pains just looking at the ingredients. 😳
I’m sure it tastes wonderful though!

Don’t tell her that, she’s conceited enough as it is!

We do this with Heath bars, except they’re mixed in with the frosting and there’s holes poked with a fork for the syrup. “Better than sex cake.”

My parents didn’t want me to know that it was called that so they told me it was called “Better Than Anything Cake”

Some of the prudes call it “better than Christmas”

This is such an American recipe. Cake mix, butterfingers, can't make that at home.

I favorited this but I shouldn’t have because I shouldn’t eat this. I am definitely going to eat this. Definitely.

cream cheese and whipped cream is a fantastic combo, i use it for a lot of desserts.

learned it from a very old family recipe called mississippi mud. crust is flour salt and butter then baked in a 9x13 till crispy then cool. then mix cream cheese + whipped cream + powdered sugar and add a layer to the pan. then mix butterscotch and chocolate pudding, cool, and add a layer to the pan, then top with whipped cream. chocolate ribbons, crushed nuts, or feuilletine can be added on top for texture.

That sounds awesome!

Looks delicious. I’m not even going to have a go at US cooking where the recipe is combining finished food.

😬 Probably shouldn’t check out my other posts if you don’t like food that is ridiculously American. Like I always say though, our food is still better than our politics!

You mean like the super American tiramisu which uses ladyfingers?
