noccymcchunkchunk
What’s great is this could be a Harry Potter reference.. or a railway nerd reference as there is a UK operator called Lumo ?
Pishposhbingbong

phobosorbust
It's neat and all, but blocking the aisle is a dick move.
DuncanMT
Lol, for a UK train the space left beside the lamp is still a business class luxury
If you ever visit Fife, get the commuter Fife circle train to Edinburgh to know exactly what I mean
PrincessNausicaa
I'm going to Fife at the end of the month... but commuter train is not on the top of my list.

My brother took the train up to Scotland from the South of England and he plugged in his breadmaker so he'd had a loaf ready on arrival
Oinkcohol
That carriage would of smelt amazing, which would of been a pleasant change from how they normally smell.
I hadn't even thought of that! He should've taken a nespresso machine too

Some trains have sockets so you can use a laptop or charge your mobile.
And now i feel old, for not having travelled with public transport, for over a year.
LurkerOfDarkness
Do you just run your phones/laptops down in your trains?
cyno01
US doesnt have much in the way of passenger rail and what it does is ancient.
DildoShwagginz
Most passenger trains in the UK have plug sockets under the seat for laptops and phone chargers
Pretty common throughout Europe has been for decades by now.
Hobbsrox
Have you never been on a plane before? There's plug-ins everywhere now, most commonly used to charge phones/laptops, etc.
SilverHornet
This is a train. However they have sockets too.
