What’s funny is that I read that in his voice, including the pronunciation of the word “capsule” as “cap-shu-al”.

Today was great. Most cheery I've felt in a while, which is needed because I'm out of my CBD and just found out my damn state has changed the law here so that you can't buy it except from dispensaries, because they want to be able to tax it like it was actual marijuana which is... fucking insane.

And means I can't go back to the convenient mail order subscription I had before that meant I didn't have to stress over it, which means I'll probably have to deal with days without it from now on.

I've always found this kind of smug and too clever. Woody Guthrie's version just always seem so much cooler, in the original sense of "cool":

The Finnish Benji will be also quite good. "finnish sorrow remover. Abolishes even the most heaviest burdens."

From 200 yards - it was a great shot.

It was art.

Im unleashing my inner darkness a bit here but ive been there on the other end of that scope, I began my career as a marksman in the british army before doing officer training, its very difficult to express yourself in a long range kill.

By default it lacks the personal touch of close quarters. Yet that shot managed to frame the shooters message and their personality perfectly. Anyone capable of hitting the carotid artery is equally capable of hitting the head. They waited for 1/

Not just the perfect moment in his rant but also the perfect symbolic shot. They didnt want him to go quickly, but they didnt want him to live, they wanted him to suffer just long enough to regret every decision he made in his life and for his last public words to perhaps be the most ironic of anyone ever shot.

He made him eat his words, he made him suffer, and he made sure it was the last thing he would ever say as chances are any ability to speak was gone the moment the round hit. 2

In terms of ironic last words, John Sedgwick ("they couldn't hit an elephant at this dist...") is a high bar to pass.
