We recently rescued 10 rattie boys and a pregnant female who were kept in horrid conditions.
Our 5th boy is Blackie. He is the biggest of the Black hooded/capped boys and when we first got him he was a very scared boy. While all the other boys would run up to us when we opened the cage doors, Blackie would run and hide. He would cry, a bit of an under statement, when we picked him up (a necessity when going to clean the habitat)
Now he runs up to greet us and enjoys the occasional belly tickle, he loves to nibble on our fingers and doesn't mind us picking him up for a cuddle as long as it's only for a little while. He really is a very sweet boy.
