this is a work in progress felted pup - the core is white wool, I felted red standard poodle hair over it and am building on that. It's a little harder, but it seems quite sturdy.
((as a dog groomer I have access to dog hair lmao))

I find it interesting and an obvious source of fur to craft with, I also am oddly disturbed by it. Not logical at all. +1 anyway!

Super cute. And such a beautiful idea. I wonder if folks who lost a pet would be into this kind of momento made with their pet's fur.

My other dog sculptures are all wool, but most of them are memorials of lost pups :) I love making them but people cry when they get em :'o
