#21 100% accurate, damn that sexy elf!

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I remember doing an evil playthrough of this game and I think the worst thing I did in it was to get the key to Sten's cell and never use it to save him.

Ser-Pounce-a-Lot was cool.

Enchantment!

I absolutely loved the idea of the tactics scripting system, but hated how much they hamstrung it. really wish some other games would have run with a similar idea

Enchantments!

Sten was a conversational minefield. You never knew just what he would approve or disapprove of.

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

He approved of acting according to your role as a Grey Warden. Disapproved of distrations from our duty.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

*Morrigan disapproves*

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

My biggest gripe is being unable to provide Jowan with an out after my warden became a very aggressive bloodmage. Still the best game of the series

We all know who the real hero AND strongest being in the universe. Good boy, Sandal.

Boom

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Damn... some fond memories of the whole franchise. Not quite enough to reinstall it, but still.... worth an upvote.

Dragon age inquisition hold up, but Origins is way to dated for me now. Hell inquisition looks way way better than starfield.

2 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 3

I'm still salty that Inquisition plays like a MMORPG. Still good, but ick.

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Reinstalling Origins is a tough sell when I only have a few hundred hours in BG3 atm

2 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Despite the 300 hours i put in Origins, I put about double that in 2 DA:2 was so fucking good.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

origins triggered me. they could have easily won the first fight if they didnt have the archers fire only once and in front of the guys with actual weapons. same with the seige engines. you wouldnt have needed the traitor guys help at all if your stratagy wasnt braindead

Just swooping in to drop a +1 to another person of culture... carry on.

No, swooping is bad.

2 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

I like to see how they interact with my camp Marbari dog . Cute cut scenes .

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

#29 They did him and Justice dirty with DA2.

An entire dump of Dragon Age:Origins memes?! Praise the Maker!

2 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

Dragon age origins? You mean one of the GOATs of the video game world? The game I've beaten atleast 7 times on nightmare difficulty? Never heard of it, explain all of the memes like I'm a child.

How is inquisition? I’ve never played it but it’s on sale on psn frequently.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I honestly really enjoyed it for the most part, my biggest gripe are the timers for the war table quests, but those are easily modded away

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'd say it's enjoyable (best with imported saves from the other 2 games), but there are spots where it drags with basically busywork.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I do t have saves of the other 2 on my own account (was on 360 and went Sony with ps4). But maybe I’ll give it a shot. When it’s on sale for the GOTY edition it’s pretty cheap.

You'll need to use Dragon Age Keep to manage the transfer, which builds a worldstate for Inquisition to use. It allows you to move things cross-platform or even make your own state from scratch (as there's much less that's used compared to Mass Effect). You don't lose anything from a scratchbuilt save over a transferred save for Hawke's appearance I believe.

Cool! Thanks for the heads up.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

There are jumping puzzles in a game with falling damage and no healing.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

One of my favorite games but it does have a bit of a MMORPG quest structure at times.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I never really traveled with Sten so I've never seen that line at the Urn of Sacred Ashes. Looks like I've been missing out.

2 years ago | Likes 66 Dislikes 0

I respecced Sten to a tank with a mod. It was awesome

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Bring him with to the tower of mages and fail to convince the guard to let you by. Sten will do it for you.

2 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Sten is probably low key the funniest companion of the group. Also very easy to handle. Just tell him to shut and and get back in line and he'll do it and respect you for it. Personally, handling Morrigan was more difficult.

2 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 0

And therein lies my issue. I always try to play the "nice guy" for lack of a better term, and Sten definitely does not appreciate that lol

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

It's not that he hates niceness, he hates acting without logic or purpose. He loves directness and philosophy.

2 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Well worth bringing for his.....views on things shall we say?
Had a ball when I replayed it recently

2 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 0

Then there is me the "i actually liked dragon age inquisition" player

2 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 0

In my friend group, I’m in the minority for really disliking it, you aren’t as alone as ya think!

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Inquisition was good! It had some stuff that was annoying but as a whole, great game.

2 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

So... I do as well.. But I also liked 2... and apparently I'm the only one.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I didn't dislike it. though I was rather annoyed that I thought I was getting a cool mystery to finally uncover the secrets of the black city and the origin of the darkspawn and that plot was largely ignored to dive head first into elf lore, which isn't what I signed up for.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Still salty we couldn't romance Harding

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Absolutely, especially because i played a dwarf. Dearves always get the short stick in these games

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

*dwarves

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Man, fuck Anders

2 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 2

I'm on it.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Sadly, I have little hope for Dread Wolf. The original creators behind the series (the actual people, not the faceless corporation) are long gone, Bioware's a mess worthy of a superfund site, and the ending to Trespasser was awful enough to put me off the whole series.

2 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 3

Honestly I couldn't care less for the series after Origins.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Same. 2 is genuinely the worst AAA game I have ever played. It's so unbelievably bad. Inquisition was... fine... but didn't really capture me in the same way. I just view Origins as a stand alone title, frankly.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Fun fact, DA2 wasn't supposed to be a sequel, it was originally a spin-off but EA was all "We need a new game out now! What's this, a DA game? Make it bigger and get it out within the year, we'll call it a sequel!", and we all saw how that went.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I'm not even convinced it was supposed to be a game... my current theory is that it was meant to be a book or comic since EA was pushing franchising to heavily at that time with every IP they could, and when they tasked the team with getting out a new game a year later they put Inquisition on the back burner and cranked out DA2.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Oh really? I loved origins and inquisition, had so much fun with both!

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I felt Inquisition needed to be a more open world game like The Witcher 3. It's too mass effect-y. It's not bad, but the later games also just kind of screwed up the lore.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

#1 Hey. Fuck you. I'm not THAT old

2 years ago | Likes 34 Dislikes 0

Yes we are

2 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

No we aren't! Wait, let me get my ibuprofen, this arthritis is bitch.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Fuck you no we're not. DA Origins came out like 5...oh...oh fuck...14 years ago...oh....no.....
