Sciel’s Charnon was printed on a Bambu Lab A1 over the course of about two days, assembled with a 5/16” threaded rod in the middle, and I “welded” the seams with the soldering iron! Still need to sand and paint, but the weather is brutal this week

Its always funny how the scythe is such a shitty weapon type. Its a close range wanting to look like a larger longer weapon since the cutting edge is towards you. Then its so big that its unwieldy when stored on the back(Tip Poking other peoples asses) and even if it folds up an Axe would just be better. Cant also forget the cutting arc. unless it has a fantasy power just swinging the thing at someone hits with the back of the blade. Glad I overcame my Scythe Fandom. Nice prop you made though.

Sweet, so an A1 seems to be what most are using around here. My youngest got a toybox 3d printer, so if he stays with it, I'll invest in the A1 in a few years. Thanks for the reply and keep rocking the E33 cosplay!

Looks absolutely amazing. I wish I could convince my dad to print me cool stuff like this but he only ever wants to use his multitude of printers to make “practical” stuff. I think the last thing he made me was a one week pill organizer

You say that, but many files for these things have cut up versions that you can print on like, an Ender 3 with a 8x8 build plate. You just need to do some work gluing and smoothing out the seams.

I've tried that before but a lot of the time unless there are clear interlocking splits it never looks right and is always a bit of a mess

He’s got 5 printers that are currently running. He mostly makes little toys that he brings to his office for kids to take home (he’s a doctor) and he’s made decorative stuff like a dinosaur skull and a couple ships from Star Trek and Star Wars

Have asked if you can use one yourself instead of having him do it for you? 3d printing is a pain in the ass and I can hardly fault anyone who doesn't want to print stuff for other people.
You'll have to know what you're doing in order to split the 3d model up into small enough chunks for the printer to handle, slowly print it once piece at a time, glue them all together, and then go through the painful process of gap filling and sanding over and over and over again until you want to die.

He has like 5 printers currently up and running and 3-4 more that aren’t for whatever reason and another on the way that he kickstarted or something. I don’t have a computer so I can’t really do any of the stuff you need a computer for. I’ve asked him to show me how it all works and shit but he doesn’t want me “fucking with his computer or printers” I’ve gone and found stl files and sent them to him asking if he’ll set it up and print them and I’d check them and do all that but he won’t

Well that sucks. Prices vary wildly, but there are etsy shops who'll print stls for you, and in my area there are also game shops and college tech labs which hire out their printers too.

Yeah it sucks. How pricey is it usually to get stuff printed the way you’re talking about? I’m on SSI and I only get like $560 a month to live off of so not a ton of disposable income

Something big like in the OP would be pretty pricey. Something more medium-sized like a helmet could be anywhere from $50 to $200. Really hard to pin it down, Per-hour prices vary like crazy and prints can take wildly different times depending on the level of detail.
If it's something kinda popular that someone may have pre-printed already, like a comic book or star wars prop, it can be much cheaper. I saw a Doctor Doom mask for $20 for example.

That's one of the reasons that I did. Made it SO much easier to transport (cuz guess who had to do THAT lol). I also rigged a ball bearing into the base of the staff so she could roll it on the floor while slung over her shoulder.

I never got the hang of her mechanics. I played most of the game under the motto "I have no idea what I'm doing, but if I just hit a lot and regenerate a lot, I'm unstoppable."

I didn’t get the hang of her damage so she was 100% support for me, Fortune’s Fury (ally does 2x damage) and Intervention (ally plays immediately) were key for bosses like Simon for me

Assuming you want her as a boss killer:
Use Charnon weapon (or the new one from the Goty DLC, but you get that even later) and give Pictos and Luminas so she has 100% crit chance during combat. Now every Free aimed shot (FAS) generates 1 Foretell.
Give her Luminas to battery AP. FAS give AP, applying burn gives AP, etc.
Do 10 FAS, then delaying Strike. You can do more shots but watch your AP. You can spend AP differently but the turn denial is preferred against bosses.

With Cheater Lumina you do this twice per turn. And with enough speed stat you get two turn before the enemy even gets their first. Though with delaying strike spam if your enemy is not Simon or the new bonus bosses (or a gimmick fight like Große Tete) they will never get a turn
The finisher here is „End Slice“, her last gradient skill. The more Foretells you consume (which should be 20 each whole turn) the harder it hits. This scaling seems uncapped in regular use cases.

For maximum flashiness: Do 5 full turns, so 100 consumed Foretell, then buff yourself with Fortunes Fury, then End Slice. With (greater) powerful/defenseless buffs/debuffs you should see around one billion damage. Normally less will do just fine.
