I needle felted a baby owl. Finished product first.
Early state
Stabbing in some details here and there.
Cleaned things up a bit.
He stands on the 3D printed feet I designed! Huzzah!
At this point I liked him but he didn't look like a baby enough. I was really nervous about messing him up so I took this photo of him before what I like to call "The Fluffening".
But it went pretty well I think. Whew!

The felting itself took under 2 hours, because it's so small. I used a single 42 spiral for shaping and a 40 triangle for finishing :)
