Blockbuster, instantaneously. I can live without the rest of these (although Borders was great), but Blockbuster still lives in my head all these years later. The smell of VHS/DVD box plastic, stale popcorn, the endless rows of month-old Buncha Crunch, the hideous carpet, the quiet atmosphere. I miss it.

It would be between Sears and Radio Shack. Probably Sears, the tools warranty was great and may have saved my sons' lives when they were teenagers. I brought back bent screwdrivers that they had used a pry bars, easy exchange, no trouble.

RadioShack please. And before Nick Cannon turned it into a glorified cellphone retailer. The amount of times I needed quick electronics parts and ope had to go buy it on Amazon or Mauser or Digikey rather than just going down the road.

I would say Borders but I definitely used to just sit there for hours and read manga for free instead of buying them because they’re $10 a pop so I can’t say they’d stay in business for long
