I like every inch of wall space covered, but also I like having every horizontal surface clear of clutter for me to set notebooks and drinks on. It makes a home where you're surrounded by what you love, but not hindered by it, with the space to do what you want.

This is beautiful, but real life has to exist here. I love all of it, but to exist in this has me drowning. Cleaning, dusting, sweeping, everyday life has me running from this beautiful existence. That is without pets, kiddos, other humans existing in this. It is beautiful and perfect, but thank you for showing me real life and this environment cannot exist for me. It is beautiful.

I think it’s key to get comfortable with color again. So much of the new designs blasted in social media are sterilized white kitchens, grays, black trim, etc. Kitchens can be fun, lively and colorful instead of cold bland hospital white. Warm colors for living rooms and bedrooms.

My kitchen is a mix of green and white. Most rooms in my house are different colours. 2 tone blue in the front room, red and pink hall/landing, yellow spare bedroom, lavender master bedroom.
I tend towards lighter shades of colours, then adding interesting artwork on the walls.
