29. Speaking of games. I litterally just finished building Diona as a second shielder on Genshin Impact, and now Layla comes out with a stronger shield, 100 percents uptime, and I just like her more. :(

30. I just built 3 characters in a row, I don't have xp books OR money for a character that fills the same role. I know Diona's objectively good but nieh. Layla's melee, seems more fun to play and has some damage, and is a sleep-deprived student so she's relatable

31. I guess I could start farming again but that's just not efficient, I could be working on my artifacts for more damage

32. What's frustrating is that Diona had the second best shield (First being Geo Daddy / Zhongli, that I have) since before I started playing, I didn't build her for a year, and now that I did, Layla's there

33. I got her, she won't go anywhere, so I could always build her later but now the Temptation's there

(Also Gravity Falls is a great show)

34. Diona's both a healer and a shielder but I don't need more healing in the team she's in, I have Shinobu. Shinobu who sacrifices her own hp, which is why a reliable shield is good

35. I'd need to level up a weapon, Layla herself, farm bosses and mobs for ascensions, farm talent books. I can just steal Diona's artefacts, but I farmed all of the above for Diona just now and I want it to have some use

36. Is this an interesting rant to you all ? Does at least one person know my struggle ?

37. I cleared my first abyss recently, which is a timed series of combat where you can't use food for healing or buffs, so the team has to have both enough survivability (shields and heals) and damage to finish on time. You need two teams.

38. I was so proud ! Using said Diona team on one side and my old reliable Xiao / Zhongli on the other.

39. But the abyss reset this week, and while I can 3 stars out of 3 all floors but the last, said last floor has me very much dead

40. So you know, A BETTER SHIELD WOULD BE KINDA NICE. The one problem with Geo Daddy (all hail) is that there's only one of him.

To be fair the first team has to face Riftwolves, that continually bleed your characters even when off-field, and the second the most annoying boss ever, that always teleports before I can get a hit in. I tried it with an archer but she's not nearly as built as my two teams. And that's only the first room out of three !

42. And I thought I had gotten good. To get gooder, I need artifacts. To farm artifacts, I need to not be farming for Layla. I'll probably end up going with what I feel like doing in the moment

43. The abyss is just a tiny part of the game but I like the challenge, and I just managed to clear it once so I know it's within my grasp now. There's still many quests and exploration for me to do !

44. That was your Genshin Impact rent of the day. It's a great game, the abyss is endgame so you don't need to worry about it

45. The characters have different elemental types so you can combo and freeze, melt, vaporize your ennemies, among other reactions.

46. Good story, music, puzzles, an open world to explore, frequent events and mini games ... And, eventually, abyss suffering if you want to partake.
