Magic *generally* affects Superman in that, if you cast a spell to turn his hair red, his hair would turn red. If you shoot him with a magic fireball, it's as effective as any other fire, which is to say not very. I say generally, because any character with as long and convoluted a publishing history as Superman has an exception to every rule.
