Posted last night about our parvovirus puppies we took into foster care with the rescue I volunteer with. Amy fought just over a week at the ER and sadly passed this morning.
We had checked in and were informed of improvement with her eating a little on her own and even howling. Something she hadn't done since Tuesday. I was so excited to hear she was perking up only to get the call she had passed just a few hours later.
This was the first night we got them, knowing something was off and the vet visit scheduled for Amy. She was the fast favorite of wifey. The loss of this little sweet soul is hitting hard.
Our rescue willingly paid for all 5 to get treatment and wasn't cheap. Parvo care is shockingly expensive. Support your local rescues and if you are willing and able, toss a coin to this rescue, oh valley of Imgur.
Tax deductable, tax info will be emailed.

Very sorry, chaps. Thankyou for trying so hard. Hugs to you and your wife, and to the pups.

I am so sorry, I was so afraid of parvo that my pups never left the house until they were fully vaxxed. So devastating :(
