All about cows...and Linda

Dec 2, 2024 2:32 AM

**FP Edit** thanks guys for getting another one of my posts to the front page. Yes, he brings home the point. Cows don't just make milk. They do forced pregnancy (in the human world we call that rape). And when the poor cow's body wears out after giving birth so many times, she is sent off to be slaughtered. Her baby boys get taken away from her within four to five days to be slaughtered because they are considered waste products. The cows baby girls go into a different system where they are raised to repeat this horrid process.

My front page wish? When you're ordering your coffee drink, do a plant-based milk (Starbucks is no longer upcharging for this)... Or playfully ask if Linda's working. let's make this a thing!

...Wait.. I'm going to addendum my Linda wish. I just found out that one of my clients named Linda was in an automobile accident yesterday and is in the hospital. Let's all hold good thoughts for her that she's going to be okay. A lot of people count on this really sweet woman. -Including her disabled husband.

Ok, but why does he need to push his dick out every time he says milk? Does he also think 'milk' come from boy cows?

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 4

He is pantomiming udders.

I was not looking for Linda, but Linda found me

Soy milk is tastier anyway. And the coconut milk Starbucks uses in their refreshers drinks is delicious.

Im sorry to hear about your neighbor linda. I hope she gets better soon so she can get back to her work at starbucks. I want my latte!

Thank you kind and sweet internet stranger! I'm going to check on her after a bit here. She's a really good client and we all care about her a lot.

I only just found out roosters crow all day long like 3 or 4 years ago. I thought it was dawn only.

2 years ago | Likes 35 Dislikes 0

The morning thing comes from the fact that they start crowing as soon as the fuckers wake up. So yeah, they crow at dawnish, and a little bit after... then again around noon, just in time for afternoon tea... and they keep going until nightfall, and then in between those places wherever they can squeeze in a good crow.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

It starts at dawn because rooster sleep in the dark. The second it gets light out they wake up and do their thing.

Lol! I'm rural and have chickens. One of my city dweller friends came over a few years ago to hang out for the afternoon, and one of my roosters sat on the porch with us and started crowing his fool head off. She said "I thought roosters only crowed in the morning???" So I got to hit her with "Well, they START crowing in the morning." (This is him. His name is The Power. He's old now, but still noisy. And cuddly.)

Preacher Lawson, I saw him live earlier this year. He was good, although I think he's still growing into his potential as a comedian. Could be great with a bit more work.

He also does content in french. The guy was working as a doorman at a Montreal comédie club just so he could get is chance at the mic. He has plenty of appearances at Mike wards' podcast Sous-Ecoute

Yeah I was just talking to another friend of mine who said that she saw him and thought the same thing :-)

Saw him on AGT on YT years ago. Guess he didn't get his break in his career yet

Dairy forces cows to get constantly pregnant in order to be lactating. That is a cows entire life. I am a dairy consumer but seek to reduce and remove it from my diet as I can!

Thank you for this ❤️

I'm not sure how I feel about this lol It's kind of cringe but it's kind of adorable

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They're delicious and milk is used to make cheese so the our whole species overlooks the fact of insane suffering. Cows are smart, too, about as smart as dogs. They're totes adorbs, and like to be pet. :3

Karen's milk is sour.

I’d try Linda.

I recently had a son and am breastfeeding. Your breast milk is the same as your blood alcohol levels. So my husband wants me to get really drunk, pump, and then we can make Me White Russians

Oh ooof You are correct! I totally didn't even think about that lol

Please add some educational videos outside of your echo chamber. https://youtu.be/wOABswBPP7s?si=LaZVAUIaS-KLYnht
Here is a content creator, that would be a good start.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Oh hey I posted about this guy here too lol his videos are very educational. I love when he cuddles his cows.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Good grief by all means yes let's greenwash the dairy industry already more than it does itself. I'm not going to listen to any of this YouTube propaganda. The meat, dairy, egg, and fishing industries already spend millions if not billions of dollars every year Green washing their "products" which are live animals that deserve better.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Having been raised in animal agriculture practices, and choosing that as my career, I know that I'm not going to change your opinion about this topic and you aren't going to change mine. But anthropomorphizing rape from animal estrus behavior distracts and dilutes your message.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

What would you call forcing a rod into a vagina to inseminate a cow? You wouldn't call that rape?

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

If the farmer allows a bull to "cover" her naturally would you be satisfied. Does a woman who chooses IVF get raped by her fertility doctor that administers the semen dose.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

You are so deluded. The poor cow is being forced raped over and over again to give birth to have her poor babies taken away from her at 4 to 5 days old to either be slaughtered or to put back into your "milk mill" You work in a disgusting practice.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

So initially I thought they had to constantly keep the cows pregnant or birthing (maybe they do. That'd be shitty). But like people, they can continue to make milk long after birth so long as you keep milking them. No need for constant pregnancy

2 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 1

They do, and it's pretty shitty.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

An average cow lactates for about 10 months after giving birth. An average cow does this about 4 or 5 times in her life. Then, they usually go to the slaughterhouse.

2 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 1

But I bet Linda isn't average. No woman can raise new a child every year from a starbucks salary. Also, Linda probebly doesn't go the the slaughterhouse.

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

There's a tiktok dude called Iowadairyfarmer who explains how things work https://www.tiktok.com/@iowadairyfarmer?lang=en pretty interesting

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

It's absolutely abhorrent

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 4

I feel like there is a lot of misunderstanding in the dairy business. There are plenty of farms that take care of their cows.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Right up until the time they send them off to slaughter them

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 4

Even then they are taken care of. It's done as humanely and as quickly as possible. Which even that is quite the topic of debate.
