Swedish Pizza of the Day

Say hello to another Swedish pizza - this one probably as close to a deep-dish pie as possible in this neighborhood.

This pie is from a joint in the city of Sundsvall on the east coast. My work occasionally allows a visit there and I always use it as an excuse to enjoy a pizza.

This was delivered to the hotel. It is half / half one side "Golden Gate" and the other is "Little Italy." The Golden Gate is made up of pineapple, beef, red onions, jalapeños and topped with blobs of bearnaise sauce. The Little Italy side is red onion, Parma ham, sun-dried tomatoes, mozzarella and topped with ruccola.

Absolutely delicious.
