Well, he needs co-financing. Ellison might very soon run out of money, since I think his personal shares in Oracle are given as collateral for loans to buy Paramount/Warner. And since Oracle shares are about to tank when all of their loans for data-center buildouts are becoming due, but without compute takers on the OpenAI and Anthropic side, who don't have a business model, his shares will be not valuable enough for the loans to buy Paramount. Ooopsie!

If all they do is revert the changes, we'll be back here in a few more years. The loopholes are the problem - and, right now, they are too big to simply "close". Rules will have to be rewritten from the ground up. Entire systems have to be massively reworked.
FIRST, we need to get MAGA and AIPAC both completely out of government. We can't fix anything as long as the fascist racist idiots are here, AND as long as Israeli money is here. SECOND, we do need to close the loopholes before we can get

Once all of that is done,... then we can actually work on the country. Having fixed the damage to the system of governance finally puts us in position to fix the damage the old system let happen.

The biggest weakness in this plan is that we have to get power back in the first place to do any of that stuff. And, while I am ever the hopeful optimist, I won't lie and say it's guaranteed to work out.

I suspect the second biggest weakness is that "it won't be fast, it won't be easy" that you mentioned. All too often it seems to work for these turds to break *a lot* of things, get voted out, then screech that the sane adults aren't fixing things *fast enough* and then they get voted back in and break even more things..

CNN and CBS are information outlets. Having foreign involvement is more that a little concerning. Also, having input on any kind of media that's "allowed" is also a huge problem.
