Yeah, its a butcher knife. Probably for cleaving apart bones because the long handle allows for more for more force

Absolutely is, you can see on the heel of the blade someone beat it with a hammer or something to probably help cleave a hip joint

Anybody have an educated guess of how old it is or value. I got it from a neighbor for cutting a tree down with it like 8 years ago.
