Trump says the UK planning to give away Chagos Island (which includes Diego Garcia, a site of vital US military Base) to Mauritius is an act of great stupidity.
Well, surprise surprise (from Wikipedia): The Chagos Islands had been home to the Chagossians, a Bourbonnais Creole–speaking people, until the United Kingdom expelled them from the archipelago at the request of the United States between 1967 and 1973 to allow the United States to build Naval Support Facility Diego Garcia.
The US is indeed "respected like never before". Even under Dubya you never even came close to such lows. And that motherfucker started an illegal war and instituted a torture program!

yeah, the agreement says that the base stays for at least 99 years, and other powers can't use the other islands without the UK's permission

when one side decide to ignore agreements (the us), that allow the other side to ignore them as well.
