There about 20 books in this series. Dragonquest i think is the original. Even the later prequels are great.

Have you tried reading the books her son wrote (and others he co-wrote) in the same setting?

My absolute favorite series. I am also very fond of the Harper Hall trilogy which fit into the larger story.

Agreed, Pern and her Talent series as well were excellent. I like her style of writing about the same events from different character viewpoints in different books.

I actually started drinking wine because of Robinton. Red, naturally.
