This worries me

A small change in global average temperatures will widen and flatten the bell curve of temperatures, not just shift it a little bit hotter. In equatorial latitudes every 10 years might bring a heatwave that lasts 3 days with temperatures hot enough to kill all the plants and kill all the seeds in the grounds. There will be a swath of Earth that has no ecosystem. This is not OC, tweet grabbed and pasted. Thanks Martine for the warning that the disaster is here now.

They won't be cooked, they'll be pasteurized. Lower temp but for a long time will kill a seed. 3 days of high temps will kill a seed.

What's funny is if you look at a heat map of the entire world, this is only happening in Australia. Who did they piss off?
