#20 eh, it depends on what skill tree you spec into. My whole family has ADHD, and we all went with different builds. My partner hyperfocuses. Our youngest is hyperactive. The oldest is all about acquiring knowledge without being able to gocus on long tasks very well. And I bounce around on interests, getting random bursts to activity, followed by losing interest and moving on.

#33 Well there are solid practical reasons birds sing and bees make hives, they're not just doing it for the fun of doing it: birdsong is often to attract mates or to mark territory, while beehives are the shelter, housing, and structure for their whole eusocial bee community.
Of course there is nothing wrong with singing and dancing just for the fun of doing so, or with singing and dancing for some of the practical reasons identified by social anthropologists, but don't reduce it to just one!

#27 I seem to recall that the "your brain isn't done developing until the age of 25" thing was actually because 25 was the upper age limit of when they were taking measurements and found it was still developing. Thus it is a reasonable supposition that the brain continues developing considerably past the age of 25, and indeed, quite possibly, for your entire life...
... which means that "ding" sound will probably NEVER occur.

The first picture is two maps, they should not be considered one map. If one does consider them as one map, greece is on the wrong side of Italy. This is contrasted with the "fantasy map" which is just the Mediterranean but shuffled around a bit.

#10 Nothing first world about grid plans. That's just the kind of city layout that happens when you intentionally plan a city before a good portion of the growth happens, instead of a town just growing organically.
While most people first think of US cities when they see this kind of layout, it can also be found (sometimes to a lesser degree) in places like Barcelona, Mogadishu, Islamabad, or Ouagadougou.

Or Paris. Anything's possible if you're able and willing to demolish a lot of older parts of the city to make avenues that are not only long and straight, but wide enough to be difficult to barricade during Yet Another Urban Uprising.
It also helps if said city is built on a large and sufficiently flat plain, so San Francisco will always struggle with it.

Not true, a parasite decreases the host's fitness and increases its own. Fitness is not a perfectly defined concept but its most direct measure is the number of offspring produced, hence a fetus cannot reduce the fitness of its host since it ontologically increases the host's fitness.

You made up your own definition then changed it halfway through your comment. A parasite is something that can't live without a host because it gets nourishment from said host. There are plenty of parasites that don't decrease the host's fertility. And the "most direct measure" of fitness is not fertility otherwise the fitness test you took in school would be really weird.

I'm just well-actually-ing about biological/ecological fitness, not physical fitness, and that is an ecological definition of parasitism as opposed to mutualism (both species increase their fitness as a result of their interaction) and commensalism (one species increases its fitness and the other receives no benefit nor suffers a fitness cost).

I would need to see one of those Star Wars spec manuals to guesstimate armor differences between All Terain Scout Transports and All Terain Armored Transports but based on name this might be comparing a jeep being crushed to something closer to a tank.
