Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 (2013: Sony Animation) has some of the best and/or Unique character animation in a 3D cartoon.

(My apologies for only including 1 example, I do not own a copy of the movie and rely on already existing gifs)

For some reason I am reminded of Dexter's Laboratory, I know that Gendy Tartovoski works at Sony now but I'm not sure how much (if any) he worked or contributed to this movie. I dabbled in character animation a few years ago and this kind of stuff makes me want to do it again.
