The original costumes are in the Museum of the Moving Image in Astoria, NY, as part of the Jim Henson exhibit. I saw them last night after a screening of Idea Man, the documentary about Henson. Ron Howard, who directed it, & Frank Oz were both there. It was an awesome night.

I watched Idea Man too, and I was bummed to hear that Labyrinth was considered a flop. I adore that movie!

You met the OZ?

Second time I've met him. About 10 years ago we saw him do a Q&A at the same place. Someone asked him about how they deal with Muppets & humans in the same shot and he used my son as the Muppet stand in when demonstrating it.

Bowie's and Connelly's or Bowie and Connelly's?

Yeah, that bit of grammatical punctuation confuses me as well. I decided that as each has an example in the photo, each gets a possessive.

I really don't know, both getting an s feels wrong but that doesn't mean it is.

So the bulge was a prosthetic? That makes it even stranger.

Its called a Cod Piece. And they changed its size throughout the movie depending on how much power he has over her.

Yes, I understand what a cod piece is. Makes no difference to my comment of course.
