For these two peace was never an option. Until nap time that is.

My boy didn't have littermates, and now he doesn't know how much biting is acceptable. Let them play.

My cat learned by playing with me. If she bit too hard without warning, then she got a "hey," a hand flap, and a couple light taps and a time-out if she escalated. If she warned me that she was done playing, then I backed off. We learned each other's boundaries and she learned what was acceptable play and what was too aggressive.

You have no idea how hard I tried with him. It doesn't help that he is, well, not the smartest cat. He's a special boy and I love him to death, but damn is he a little idiot.

Poor cat always the brain cell maid never the brain cell holder...

unfortunately you have to let them beat each other up, it's the only way they'll both learn the limits of what's acceptable

We got a kitten via the kitten delivery network and immediately worked to find a second. All so we wouldn't raise a violet psychopath kitty (again). The last little psycho baby traumatized the dogs.

Is there a link for this kitten delivery network?

Step 1) Have stray cats in your neighborhood. Step 2) Listen for the loud mewing.

Hold up, there's a kitten delivery service? That's bonkers!

The service provided two deliveries within two months. So we have 3 babies, most of which just turned one.

It's really a random distribution network.
