Mountain Man Ernie Tertelgte on Natural Law
Ernie Wayne Tertelgte argues that the court system has no right to detain or prosecute him. Especially for some b/s like fishing without a license.
Edit: To those who denounce his stance: Mr. Tertelgte's philosophy is similar to that of many Native Americans: that we are an eternal spirit manifest for an ephemeral period on this living, breathing earth. We each share in the blessings of the planet. He is a living person that has natural rights to nourish his body from the natural ecosystem, without living subservient to an equally ephemeral society that demands payment to hunt and eat fish. He is challenging the very notion of the society that claims ownership over him with social security numbers, bank accounts, employment, etc.
Though you may call him crazy, others will call him enlightened.
Whether or not you agree with him, you should understand his POV and arguments before denouncing them outright simply because you don't understand them or have not heard or considered his arguments. He's pretty damned articulate and even more courageous, if you ask me.
