Sorry, Not Sorry

The majority of both of these different political entities no longer respond to what the American people need/want. They only respond to what corporations and rich people tell them to do. America is going to burn soon... here's a short list explaining why:

1) $3-4 trillion for corporations who have and are still going to lay off workers

2) No long term rent/mortgage moratoriums/forgiveness which means a massive wave of evictions coming

3) Billionaires saw their fortunes rise by >$450 BILLION!!! during a crisis

4) 120,000+ dead from a virus, it's on the rise, and we are still arguing about the effectiveness of wearing masks

5) Gerrymandering letting our representatives to choose their constituents instead of the other way around.

6) Polling/voting locations intentionally closed down = Voter Suppresion.

7) Black and poor (often overlap) people targeted by Police.

8) Journalists targeted by Police.

One party is a little better than the other.... SO???? They both suck and don't deserve your vote or time. Stop drinking the Koolaid.
Progressives need their own party because they're the only ones who have some semblance of helping workers, the poor, people of color, and the environment.

System's fucked.

Your first sentence is correct. But they are absolutely not the same. Both are bad in their own ways but to say they are the same is wrong..

If you all think western civilization will last forever, you need to wake tf up. The system needs reform.

Progressives struggle to win left-skewed Democratic primaries even before superdelegates are brought into it.

What super delegates?

All of your points are pure republican ideology

Yeah dude. Either you just woke up from like 30 year coma or you're pushing narrative which is bullshit.

Actually the democrats passed a bill in congress addressing much on that list.

53 years seems oddly specific. Makes me wonder what it looked like at 54 years.

Dems: "Let's change the names of colleges and delete episodes of tv shows". How about some real systematic change??

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Yup, Reps may be more criminal than the Dems, true. Dems are complicit in not trying to fundamentally change the system for justice.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

That just invalidates your whole point. I've party isnt good enough and the other is criminal. These two things aren't equal.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

My point is why the fuck are we still only voting for these parties? They both suck, one might be worse, but they're both horrible. Stop

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

pretending otherwise.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Because we have an antiquated voting system that guarantees a two party system, and until we get that fixed we're unlikely to break out.

If you honestly can't tell the difference between Trump's GOP and the Democrats at this point, it's no wonder we're fucked.

6 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 8

I can. The GOP is a feckless bunch of self-enrichers, Trump is a jerk and, somehow, the Democrats are still way, way worse.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

I can tell the difference, but at a fundamental elvel they are only working for their corporate and rich donors. If you think either

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

one is helping our society, no wonder we're fucked.

Trumps GOP can eat a double decker shit sandwich and the political left are frauds who cant pass a bill for beans.

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

They can't pass a bill because Moscow Mitch makes the rules in the Senate.

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Yeah the problem is a lot bigger than moscow mitch...

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

He's 1 of the main obstacles to Dem's passing any bills. Dem's passed a bunch in the House that he refused to even bring up in the Senate.
