Now, maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think I 've ever seen the eagle posed like this in US iconography before.

Limp-winged fucker was probably designed by AI or outsourced somewhere cheap.

There's a fairly similar one on the reverse of the Franklin half dollars

Thanks for the image. When I was looking it up I had only really found images with outstretched wings.

Kind of a rehash of the Washington quarter I guess?

Ahh ok thanks. Haven't seen that in a while

Why is it perched on a dildo?

Probably tired from flying in a patriotic fashion, what's your excuse?

You use barbed dildos? You're braver than I am.

If it's not real U.S. currency, I'm unsure why it matters what eagle variant is used.

I think they were insinuating that it looked similar to some of the Nazi symbology, but really anything with an eagle on it looks Roman, including Nazi and U.S. eagle symbols.

The Reichsadler is what first came to mind when seeing , yes. But you're right that the eagle is fairly common iconography history. I was making a mountain of a molehill

Ah, I didn't pick up on this. Thanks.

Ordinarily, the eagle (or crow) is depicted with wings raised in pretty much all government iconography. Haven't been able to find anything like it so far in government seals and so on.

A lot of the ones I looked up yea . But the coins I see posted above show that it's not uncommon

That's fair. I didn't realize it was a coin we were looking at. Thought it was just an ad for like trump bonds or some other junk.

It's one of those "commemorative coins" which I've always found kind of ridiculous. Though I do like the gas station machines that flatten your coin with an image lol

Seems like a silly piece of junk honestly, what with Trump's name connected to it. But to each his own I guess. I'm sure there's some Hitler coin out there somewhere worth something to a collector.
