At least 50% of Colombians 3 to 4 times a week eat mangos like that. My kids destroy mangos, so does my wife, all they leave are bits of skin and pits, sometimes surprisingly white like they had been bleached. I tend to cut them up before eating, which doesnt at all mean I am cultured or civilized... I do the same thing to cupcakes, inhale them, sometimes whole.

#1 The messier, the better! We bought a house with a mature mango tree in the backyard. This is what I would pick up almost daily when it was producing fruit. I still have some frozen, and hope to make a mango cheesecake for Thanksgiving.

I was just the computer fixit guy for the local Department of Primary Industries office, only on site when stuff needed poking, and not privy to any discussions about marketing. One Friday afternoon I happened to be there sorting out something for Ian. He said "Do you want to take some mangoes home for the weekend?" and pointed to his lab full of crates from which sample fruit had been taken. A couple of those crates went down quite nicely with my family.

Two reasons: 1, because I don’t relate to the pain and struggle of the triangle and it seems like a nonissue to me so I just want to see everyone be happy. 2, because they are fictional characters that can be anything, so I’m not telling real life people to be different, but would instead like to see positive representation in media. Summary key note: i wouldn’t say that to anyone in real life or expect people to change identities, I just say it to screens frequently.
