So part of my brain is nitpicking one of the key issues here. If North American aboriginals aren't US citizens despite a constitutional amendment stating so and at least one law clarifying, "Yes, it really does apply to them," where are they going to get sent to? "Yeah, you're not a US citizen so we're going to deport you to the US." Or what about the ones whose families came here from northern and eastern Asia thousands of years ago; are we gonna deport them back to Mongolia? -_- ->

To clarify, while I don't know the generalities much less the specifics about how reservations and tribal lands in the US they're within the US borders which makes the joke moderately feasible. Deporting Navajos to a Navajo reservation is what will happen, and it'll be treated as something other than deporting a US citizen to US soil.
At the same time I really gotta wonder how they're going to handle people from US territories since they aren't US citizens despite being part of the US.

I've thought about that and I'm wondering why I haven't seen them go after African immigrants, too. I live near a lovely neighborhood with a majority of East African immigrants. I asked an IA person and their best guess was African immigrants are less likely to be undocumented. Now I'm curious why that is and if that's more common amongst all immigrant groups that can't easily cross a land border, so the paperwork route is their only choice?

I think it is because the trip here is more difficult... you can get a tourist visa from most of the Americas without much effort and then just overstay... To visit from Nigeria, e.g. you have to fill out a DS-160, pay $185 and schedule an interview with an embassy staffer....
