My fiance and I adopted Hiro almost three years ago on his first birthday. He had been bounced from home to home after his first owner committed suicide. At first he was confused and missed his foster family. He would run away to his old home, scaring us half to death each time. After a while, he warmed up to us, and now he is fully settled into our family. We first heard about him through my fiance's mother, who had just adopted Ando. Ando was born six months after Hiro and from the same parents. They live together and play together now!
