Gushing, was straight up weird...
Ive watched some pretty questionable trash anime, but the animation was actually pretty good, the subject matter... eeeehhhhhhhh, not for me thanks.

This is perhaps a case where the "Weeb Ass Shit" -scale could be useful. Gushing over Magical Girls probably passes the "Weeb" (how much knowledge of Japan/anime is required to understand the story) and "Shit" (general quality of story, animation, et cetera) checks, but not the one for "Ass" (which stands for "fanservice" and other raunchy elements.)
