In case anyone was wants to fly
These are the wingsuits currently available on the market. Just 200 jumps and you can start on your first. I am by no means an expert, but I have over a hundred skydives on one and would be happy to share any info to anyone interested.

How do you land?
Lipwigzer
A parachute. Slightly different setup depending on if you are BASE jumping or skydiving.

Oh, that makes allot of sense!

I feel like a windsuit is one of those accidents that's not only waiting to happen, but must get exhausting after a short while.

actually responsibly flown they are quite safe and as far as mussel fatigue, sometimes best glide comes from letting the suit fly itself.

My stomach would interfere with the aerodynamics...

It's counter intuitive but build doesn't greatly impact max glide performance of a suit. Tall/skinny ppl just have a tendency to go slower.

You mean I'll have to skydive 200 times before I can wingsuit?
Lipwigzer
well, skydiving with in the US has a strong recommendation of 200 jumps. Skydivers self police so there is little government regulation.
Lipwigzer
Any reputable drop zone will probably hold you to that standard. BASE jumping doesn't have so many rules, but is far more dangerous.

It's your life, but an irresponsible tragedy leaves your loved ones, friends, and the sport to clean up your mess if you catch my drift.
