If it's the same guy, an agent for Wolf Blitzer, he said he has a bad back and he could get down on the floor but no way to get back up and he's a hygiene freak so no chance he was getting down on the filthy Hilton Hotel floor in his new tux.
Read a report on him today. Apparently he's some media CEO with a very bad back so ducking or throwing himself down on the floor was out of the question for him as he wouldn't have been able to get up by himself. Also he's a germaphobe and wouldn't touch the floor or ruin his new suit. And he said he's a New Yorker so trouble and action are nothing new to him.
I doubt he was in on the fake attempt, but it really does seem like we just spectate now. We are so removed from reality and desensitized that we just allow things to happen without normal appropriate responses. More reflective of our collective inaction in this one man than the other rich people who have something to live for in the rest of the room
these are not the correspondents that get shot at regularly. these are the soft opinion writers and folks whose only exposure to danger is questionable sushi.
Depends on the nature of the assassin. If, for the sake of argument, Iran whom USA is at war with would have organized, say 50 men with guns, and stormed the venue then I doubt that they would spare innocents. Different motives for that kind of terrorism.
Bingo. These days, it's reliable to look at most terrorist incidents as being homegrown. When you have an insane pedo as president, that tends to become inevitable.
The SS was also there. That's several people who will potentially fire their guns, and can't be trusted to always identify the correct targets and hit them with every shot.
Well the imbecile did say he resisted his detail escorting him out. Also theres and angle where it seems like he falls over. So maybe not more important, just not a geriatric with a diaper more toxic than chernobyl that theyre trying not to spill
