From what I have heard it does bring quite a bit of QoL options, some better story overview on the world map, the higher res graphics while keeping the visual aesthetic, I've heard rumors of new content in it, and in general it's a modern port. I definitely feel ya though. I wish if they were gonna do remasters it would include significant additions in some ways while keeping the original content. Definitely cashing in on $50 for probably minimal effort on their part with AI these days.
