A multi-phobic man drives his new psychiatrist insane by refusing to understand office hours, social norms, or the concept of personal space.
A comedic tour de force from everyone involved. WHAT ABOUT BOB? features direction from Muppeteer Frank Oz, with Bill Murray and Richard Dreyfuss perfectly mismatched as patient and doc. The movie strikes a great balance between clever dialogue and over-the-top situational humor, and remains incredibly quotable. Highly recommended if one is looking for some laughs.
WHAT ABOUT BOB? can be rented or purchased in all the regular places.

I have a ‘don’t hassle me I’m local’ shirt tucked away somewhere. Wonder if I can find it.

I want one so bad.

This is 90's peak Bill Murray imho. One of the reasons why Groundhog Day worked so well is because of Bill Murray and Richard Dreyfuss's irl conflicting personalities. They didn't get along or even much care for each other, Dreyfuss disliked Murray because he took his part seriously and felt Murray didn't, so his tension is real. Murray admitted in later interviews he was also a bit of an ahole to Dreyfus during filming so that created more tension during their scenes together.

Whoops I meant What about Bob* lol

But also Groundhog Day is another excellent 90's Bill Murray comedy. More witty and sarcastic like he is in Ghostbusters which I think fits him well.

Gil was perfectly cast.

No argument.

There aren't a lot of movies I hate but I HATED this movie, it was like 2 hrs of root canal. Never again.

You’re welcome to your opinion, but man, we are two different people. What made you not like it?

The entire concept of "stalker that everyone else loves" is horrific. None of MCs family pays him any mind while a lunatic drives him literally insane. I guess it's me but I don't see the humor.

Hey, humor is one of the most subjective things on earth. No worries man. I’m glad we could talk about it without screaming. 😄

Cheers. For sure, I have movies that have me rolling that would def. be a horror experience for somebody else.
