I do it all the time. the trick is to use a frozen pizza made to do so, and to make sure its fucking frozen and not thawed.

pizza is thawed. had it happen but not badly a few times. only ever get a dipped end when it isnt supported, and cooks slowly/warms fast

I've gotten pretty good results just using baking paper on the rack. Nice and crisp, thin rolled focaccia dough, and as wide as my oven.
