AlternateParent Weekly Roundup #13 - April 20, 2025

What this post is for:
If you need a kind word after a bad day, I can do that for you because everyone deserves kindness. If you need advice, I'll offer some because I've seen a lot and if you can avoid it, no one should have to make the same mistakes I've made.

Things I can't do: I can't send you money, I can't accept money or gifts from you. I can't visit you (I'm a random internet person, remember that).

Things I'm not going to comment on: anything hateful, anything harmful, anything obviously trolling, anything anti [insert minority here] - these will get you blocked, probably on the first offense.

Feel free to leave a comment about your day, or week, or project you're working on, a date you're excited/nervous about, or even tag me in something you posted if you want. It may take me a little while to get to you, I'll try my best, and I promise I'll respond as soon as I can. It is also absolutely fine to message me, I don't mind at all. Don't feel bad about being shy/embarrassed or whatever. And If you send me a message, I won't ever share what you send me as long as it's not a plan to do something evil (think confessional rules about violence etc). If you send me a cool pic of something you made/did in private, I may encourage you to share it on here though. Even if it doesn't get a lot of points, it's important to take pride in the stuff you do.

Also if you have a good parent that is still around, this is your weekly reminder to call them. They would love to hear from you. And if you don't for whatever reason, I'm so sorry, and you can tell me about it if you want.
