he did the best he could with Baywatch Hawaii. Both Hawaiian actors were far better than the scripts really allowed. When I found out he'd be in GOT, I wasn't disappointed for his acting. My only concern was his looking the part and later learned that he really grew in to looking the role.

I really didn't. The movie had almost no plot and what little was there was basically a parody of a rehash of the same old bullshit from the 90s, so much so that I personally found it to be completely uninteresting. Jason Mamoa being a supreme douche and Jack just being Jack was much more entertaining.

Admittedly I was there for my nephew who's 9, but still. Lol. I'd been watching a lot of Minecraft Manhunt videos and they changed a bunch of mechanics for the movie. I absolutely don't hold that against them, because I understand why the books are always different from the film (Film has to work in favor of the audience and you can't do introspection and sudden realization very well on film, and the same for subtle game mechanics).

Well that's how I knew which islands they were referring to. I live in Northern California, so the only "islands" that are famous to me are the Hawaiian islands, so it would be normal for my area. I would assume someone who lives in the Pacific North West or someone on the East coast might not refer to them as that.
