Gabe's Amazing Burger

Layer 1: The Bun

I started off with a kaiser roll, buttered and ever-so-lightly toasted.

Layer 2: The Onions

Then I piled on a heaping portion of caramelized onions.

Layer 3: The Cheese

Next, a layer of melted muenster cheese.

Layer 4: The Lettuce

Here I set down a generous helping of lettuce.

Layer 5: The Burger

And now, the main attraction: a half-pound patty, cooked medium well, marinated and juicy.

Layer 6: Onions 2.0

I made too many onions (as if such a thing exists!) and so I put them on top of the patty.

Layer 7: Bacon

Four huge slices of thick-cut hickory-smoked bacon.

Layer 8: Cheese part 2: Electric Boogaloo

Another layer of fresh muenster cheese. I was in a hurry to eat this so I took the picture before it had a chance to melt.

Final Layer: The top bun

And to top everything off (literally), the top bun, buttered and toasted. This, right here, is the greatest burger I've ever eaten.
